DINAJPUR Polytechnic institute a largest and reputed Government polytechnic institute in Bangladesh which was established in 1964.This polytechnic has controlled by the Government of Bangladesh and under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB).

DINAJPUR Polytechnic institute is One of the Biggest Polytechnic Institute in Bangladesh. there are Three hostels two for boys and One for girls. A big play ground and also has facilities for indoor games. DINAJPUR Polytechnic institute (DPI) provide 4 years Diploma in Engineering Course under the (BTEB) as maintaining International Standard.

Workshop and Laboratory Facilities Diploma-in-Engineering courses are divided into 60 percent practical and 40 percent theoretical parts. There are workshops and laboratories equipped with modern equipment for conducting practical classes. The subject teachers conduct the practical classes and the workshops help.
